My Role : Lead UX Designer
Problem Statement : Mr. Cooper was in need of a new product offering for their originations department to create leads and new loans.
Solution : We created a new experience that gave current mortgage lenders more information about their home. In doing so, we were able to give them more information about their home equity, home valuations, and neighborhood trends. We created new tools in this product that prompted lenders to refinance to lower their monthly payment, consolidate credit cards (high interest), or finance home remodels. This product has become extremely effective in creating a new relationship with our customers and increased sales leads exponentially for current lien holders.

Research/Ideation
I created an initial card sort of page information needed by our Home Intelligence application and broke the details into likely groups.
The initial grouping was the most important for the application success. We needed to capture value estimates of the home so we could look into potential equity for refinances.
More traditional information about the home was grouped next. I compared these details to other industry leaders and created a comparable/familiar detail set.
Next we needed to visualize the historical information around the home for deeper understanding of home valuations, taxes and neighborhood trends.
For even more compelling pricing evidence, we created a section designed to show what similar homes are listing for and recent sold.
